Vote counting for the June 8 primary election for Los Angeles Superior Court Judge has finally ended. I ended with 97,000 votes. I was 1% short of the total votes of making it to the November runoff. I spent only 20 cents per vote. My opponents who are facing a runoff in November have spent in excess of $2.00 per vote.
Many have asked me whether I will be running again in the next election which is in 2012. I have not decided but in the meantime, I am sitting as an administrative hearing officer and as a mediator which allows me to obtain even more experience to support my bid as a judicial officer.
